Most of this EP is taken up by the nearly-11-minute “Blue Fog”. It begins as a folky, jazzy number replete with violin and vibraphone. As it progresses, though, it gradually grows darker.

I'm a regular on Cuneiform Records special weekend offers, in which the good Cuneiform people highlight older releases. That makes for a steady supply of Cuneiform music, but lets me probably miss out on their current stuff. Their "Albums of..." samplers at least help me keeping up to date with their latest "adventurous music", so thank you very much :-)
